(Yes, I'm aware that probably no one reads these journals of mine. But it helps to vent.) So, I had the appointment in Jacksonville with the neurologist. Basically, he said that he can see where the seizures are originating from (well, he narrowed it down to two very small possible locations) and that with more testing they will be able to figure out if I am a candidate for surgery or not. Obviously, this is a great thing. Surgery could cure me. And yet, I'm terrified. Terrified of finding out that I'm not a candidate after all, terrified that one day this could kill me, terrified of the risks...terrified of everything. And of course, sin

Yesterday was a very interesting day. I went to Tampa to visit some friends who just bought a condo. I didn't stay for long, since they had a lot of stuff to do. They bought the condo on Friday, so there was barely anything in the condo. They said they would have offered to have me stay overnight, but they were just getting their bed delivered when I left, and there wasn't a bed for the guest room yet. It was a nice little road trip, though, and it was nice to see them. But that wasn't what made my day so interesting. I got home and saw a spider on the wall in my bedroom. (Copied from my LJ with overuse of parenthesis) So, I'm finally home from Megacon. It was my first con ever, not including Orlando Anime Day, which totally does not count. I was not in any way prepared for the enormity of it all. I mean, all those people! It was a very intense crash course in dealing with crowds, which of course is something I am not good at. I am honestly very surprised that I coped as well as I did. But even with all that, I still had an absolute blast. Even just sitting in the hall and watching all the people walking around was amusing in its own right. So many costumes! And some dang good ones, along with the scary ones.
